Last weekend, Kev and I took a local babymoon staycation at the Grand Bear Resort in Utica, IL near Starved Rock. It’s a wonderfully family friendly, local resort with an indoor waterpark, arcade, mini golf and several places to dine. We stayed in the quaintest villa complete with our own kitchen, fire place and even a whirlpool tub for this pregnant mama to pamper herself!

Black Smocked Maternity Swimsuit
Every expectant mama should have a beautiful black one piece suit in their closet if they will have a sizable bump during swimsuit season. This is the Black Smocked One-Piece Maternity Swimsuit from PinkBlush and I’m wearing size XL for the right fit. My pre-pregnancy size is normally L/XL or 12/14, for reference.
The midsection allows plenty of room for the bump to sit comfortably and the thin straps are very comfortable. I’m sometimes hesitant to go with a spaghetti strap style on a swimsuit, but this one offers so much structure throughout the whole suit the thinner straps work perfectly fine! This suit also comes in four sizes and eight total colors/styles.
White Mesh Maternity Wrap Cover Up
To complement my little black maternity swimsuit, I then picked out this White Mesh Maternity Wrap Cover Up. I absolutely adore how it hugs the bump! It’s just the right amount of coverage for me to be comfortable walking around when not in the water while still very breathable.
I’m wearing a size large in white, but this mesh cover up comes in three sizes and four beautiful colors (including a hot pink I have my eye on!).
Olive Green Ruffle Maternity Swimsuit
My second bathing suit is the Olive Ruffle Trim Ruched One-Piece Maternity Swimsuit. This one is a little versatile in the sense that you can either wear the ruffles off your shoulder, like in this picture, or you can just use the spaghetti straps. I found it was easiest to not wear the ruffles when you’re actually swimming to allow great arm mobility but love them on otherwise because they’re so cute!
I absolutely adore my bump in this one! Maybe it’s because the ruffles make it feel a little extra girly; I just love it. This maternity swimsuit comes in five total colors/patterns and four sizes. Same as the black one-piece swimsuit I’m also wearing a size XL in this one for the right fit.
