Who would’ve thought after a handful of Sex in the City analogies I’d be typing to you from Fantasy Football Playoffs Week 16, also known as the Championship Week, as a contender? Not me!
I’ll admit, I began this Fantasy Football journey with guns blazing, hoping to win it all. However, I’d never have actually bet money on me taking home the ultimate victory. That trophy is so close I can smell it!
A Note on Naming Your Team
I named my team Stomp the Yard thinking it was a football movie reference, only to later find out it’s about dance. Joke’s on auto generated team name ‘Blitz429’ though, because my irrelevant name didn’t hinder my 50 point win over him. #girlbye
While this should’ve been a topic covered earlier, I suggest doing a tiny bit of research before naming your team. Some probably thought I looked silly, some probably didn’t think twice about the name, but either way I’d have loved to be in on the joke. Duh, Ash!
However, when it comes down to it, names are just a vanity detail. Doesn’t change the fact that Team Stomp the Yard is going to the Shiva!
