Matcha Smoothie Recipe

Matcha is super buzzy right now, especially for those looking for clearer skin or a less aggressive morning caffeine kick. It’s essentially green tea that you ingest directly versus steeping, and it’s amazing.

Matcha Fruit Smoothie Recipe Ingredients

If you’re like me and have remote work options, a smoothie in the morning is a fun change up from the normal cup of coffee or tea when your commute is in your slippers from your bed to your desk.

Matcha Fruit Smoothie Ingredients

Simply blend all of these ingredients together in the blender of your choice (I adore my Ninja, it has a single serve option for smoothies just like this) and enjoy.

  • 1 tsp of matcha
  • 6 oz of water
  • 6 oz of milk (I prefer light soy)
  • 1 banana
  • 3-4 strawberries
  • 10 large ice cubes
  • 1 packets/1 tsp of Splenda (optional, to taste)
Matcha Green Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Please note, the end product may not be your typical Insta-worthy smoothie. Reason being is largely because you’re mixing a strong, green matcha with rich, red strawberries. Mixing green and red definitely overtakes the smoothie visually, but just know it doesn’t effect the delicious taste of the end product.
