Shelf Brackets We Used
Sturdy brackets are not cheap. But you don’t want your shelf nor trinkets falling off the wall, so you don’t want to pinch pennies too hard here. Mine were just under $40 for 4 brackets (2 shelves-worth) and they’re SUCH good quality. Kevin still keeps telling me we bought ‘the Cadillac of brackets’. Those things aren’t going anywhere! They even came with black screws so they blend into the bracket when hung.
These came in 3 sizes, so check for ones based on the depth of your shelf (mine we’re a perfect fit at 9.25″). If you’re between sizes you’ll have to go up, not down. The lip won’t allow larger shelves to sit properly.
Similar Brackets
Don’t come in your size? Not to fear, these brackets don’t have a lip so they’ll fit any shelf that is their depth or longer and look just as great!
Similar Wood Shelves
Whether you’re going for a slightly different style or you just want an overall bracketless ‘floating’ look, here’s a great shelf option for you.

More similar to mine in style, but these shelves are also still a complete set as is. You can hang as floating shelves or add the brackets for a more industrial, farmhouse style vibe.
Mouse Shaped Laser Level
Seriously, such a cool gadget to have, and not even a big price tag. This style is referred to as a ‘mouse’ shaped laser level, which is what we have. Well worth the investment. Be sure to pick up the right batteries for your new toy, too!
Level Tool
This level tool is an absolute household staple. Apartments and mansions alike, if you plan to hang so much as a photo on your wall, please have one of these on hand. You’ll be glad you did!
